★ - Not worth the struggle. I propably have problems in admitting the book's merit.
★★ - Not my cup of tea / hated more than loved / generally meh but not that awful.
★★★ - I liked this but it could have been much better, or really liked some things and was annoyed by others. The lowest rating I give to books that I'm happy to have read.
★★★★ - Loved the book, but something in it may have really bugged me at one point or another.
★★★★★ - Memories of this still give me chills. Possibly a wonderful book in its genre, or just a personal favourite.
